This site, acquired by Cropper & Co in 2008 is now under construction. The 150 bed hotel is due to open in 2011. Update 3rd March 2011: The hotel opened on January 24th, 2011.
OLD STREET – East Road
250 bed hotel – acquired 2008 and construction underway. Hotel opening due November 2011.
SWANLEY – Former Deja vu Nightclub
This former nightclub, acquired by Cropper & Co last year (see archived news), has received planning permission for a Beefeater restaurant and 60 bed hotel and is now under construction. Swanley’s opening is now imminent – scheduled for March 17th 2011.
LEICESTER SQUARE – Queens House
3rd March – Update: Planning received January 2011. 22 October 2010 Premier Inn, the UK’s biggest budget hotel chain, has completed a deal with Soho Estates and Cropper & Co. to bring a new 84-bedroom hotel to Leicester Square. ISLINGTON – Parkfield Street
This 95 bed hotel, acquired by Cropper & Co in 2009, is now onsite with an opening date in 2011.
STRATFORD CITY – Westfield
Cropper & Co have completed the acquisition of a hotel site above the Westfield shopping centre facing Stratford International Station, for a 267 room Premier Inn hotel. The hotel is now under construction. Update 3rd March 2011: Due to open November 2011.
SUNBURY – Kempton Point
Cropper & Co have acquired a 109 room hotel at Kempton Point for Premier Inn. The hotel opened in July of this year.
SOUTHWARK – Lavington Street
A site in Lavington Street Southwark, acquired by Cropper & Co, has now received planning permission for a 122 room hotel. Update 3rd March 2011: Now onsite – construction underway.
WATERLOO – GLI, York Road
Cropper & Co have acquired the former GLI hospital for a 234 bed hotel. Work now commenced on site.
