WATERLOO – YORK ROAD – OPPOSITE COUNTY HALL

30 July 2009

Planning permission has been received to develop a 234 bed Premier Inn hotel on York Road near County Hall.

Part of the site is the Grade II listed former General Lying-In Hospital, a landmark building with a prominent Grecian facade. The listed facade and building will be retained while the adjoining nurses accommodation is completely redeveloped and incorporated into the main building. Cropper & Co. acquired this site for Premier Inn in 2007.
